For a few pictures more...

I have to admit I snuck this photo onto Anne & Patrick's camera while it was sitting on the table... (thanks for sending it you two).

For the record, we still don't have a name for the budding photographer that lives next to the Bureaus but someone will credit this shot taken by her on Anne & Patrick's camera... If we get some more examples of the group photos that were taken from all of those cameras then we'll put them together side by side and compare. As always, leave those comments and send those pictures.

For the rest of the life of this blog we'll be posting this picture and that, depending on who sends what and whatever comes our way. For the last picture today we'll leave you with a final shot from the whole vacation. The party came to an end, and for the most part during the event it rained off and on . On the last day... after the second to the last crew had cleared out. .. the sky cleared. Big puffy clouds and a big beaming sun... Here's a notable shot of Andrew on a raft as he get's swept away down the Aroostoock on our last jaunt to the river. A little bit of explanation is in order here. The big news on the 'bo for me was that the road to the swimming hole wasn't being maintained by Rudy anymore. Now you can get in the river at the "Boat Launch" at the end of Oxbow Road but the current is really strong there. The old swimming hole is on a curve that slows just enough and is just deep enough to make swimming enjoyable. Andrew got in at the "Boat Launch" on a raft and was quickly carried down the current. It was so much fun that it was decided to follow him as best we could and hope that he would go right at Junkin's Island and wind up downstream at the old swimming hole where Sam was waiting. Ask Andrew about it because sources close to OA08 heard him say, "This is awesome".
